StuCo Revamping for Next Year
The results are in.
After Student Council elections last Thursday, the newest council was introduced to Rocky Monday morning.
Although freshman representatives have not been officially announced, the rest of the positions have been filled.
Current junior Lauren Axe will take over Rylee Bundy’s role as Student Body President, capping off four straight years of being a Student Council officer. She is joined in a Student Body role by current sophomore Garrit Wilson as vice president, juniors Sidney Swan and Kayla Reynolds as secretary and on cabinet, and current freshmen Kierstin Engelbart and Mackenzie Haase on cabinet.
Quinn McGonagle will be taking over as Senior Class President. Filling out the rest of the senior class officers will be Cora Emslie, Maggie Cronen-Smith, Torie Wolf, Sadie Himot, and Madi Hand.
Next year’s juniors will be represented by officers Drew Agnew, Evan Morgan, Maddie Flemister, Izzy Henry, Jamie Fortunato, and Shalyn Nelson.
Sophomore representatives include Cooper Axe, Jackson Sayers, Sena Uctuk, Ella Jensen, Allie Reynolds, and Natalie McCrystal.
The majority of officers elected are returners, however Himot, Fortunato, Uctuk, Jensen, and McCrystal are new additions to the team.
Student Council is welcoming a new sponsor next year as well. Family and Consumer Sciences teacher Kelsey Mauch will be taking over for outgoing advisor Ginny Cox. She walks in to a spot supported by co-advisors Satini Liufau and Aaron Knobloch.
