Atmosphere, and Aesthetics – 4 stars

This downtown coffee shop has a bicycle theme making the atmosphere chic but true to Fort Collins’ culture. The staff was energetic and on top of their game despite the crowds. The drink quality was above average with their unique brewing options and flavour twists. Unfortunately, the few foods that were offered were dry and aggressively strong and everything in the store was overpriced, but if you like the atmosphere and the drinks enough you might not mind those prices.

Harbinger is professional–as one can tell as soon as they walk into the building. Their minimalistic architecture compliments the pre-modern-looking coffee roaster in the front of the store. The shop is known for homebrewing their coffee and the drinks live up to expectation with their soothing strength and subtle flavour. The staff members were quick, efficient, and fun to watch as they work–especially when working on their baked goods. The food is good, though they lack variety. If you value high quality, this is the place to go, but don’t expect anything near low prices.
