Alleycat is a warm and welcoming place to get coffee and a meal. The warm wood and eclectic art makes the building feel refreshing but cozy. They offer basic drinks that come with all the basic necessities. However, Alleycat’s real claim to fame is its food quality and variety. They offer tons of sandwiches, and treats of all kinds! The service was wonderful, and they even offered games for you to play while there. The average pricing makes the experience more than worth it!

Customer service – 3 stars
Drink quality – 4 stars
Consumable Variety – 3 stars
Atmosphere, and Aesthetics – 4 stars
Pricing – 1 star (Bad pricing)
Food quality – 2 stars

This downtown coffee shop has a bicycle theme making the atmosphere chic but true to Fort Collins’ culture. The staff was energetic and on top of their game despite the crowds. The drink quality was above average with their unique brewing options and flavour twists. Unfortunately, the few foods that were offered were dry and aggressively strong and everything in the store was overpriced, but if you like the atmosphere and the drinks enough you might not mind those prices.

Harbinger Coffee – 505 S. Mason Street, Fort Collins OR 3581 E Harmony Road, Fort Collins
Customer service – 4 stars
Drink quality – 5 stars
Consumable Variety – 2 stars
Atmosphere, and Aesthetics – 3 stars
Pricing – 2 stars (Below average)
Food quality – 4 stars

Harbinger is professional–as one can tell as soon as they walk into the building. Their minimalistic architecture compliments the pre-modern-looking coffee roaster in the front of the store. The shop is known for homebrewing their coffee and the drinks live up to expectation with their soothing strength and subtle flavour. The staff members were quick, efficient, and fun to watch as they work–especially when working on their baked goods. The food is good, though they lack variety. If you value high quality, this is the place to go, but don’t expect anything near low prices.

Bindle Cafe is the most vegan-friendly coffee shop in town. They keep the building open and clean–the perfect feel for a sunny day. The coffee is very average in terms of flavor, but the quick and friendly service makes up for it. There is plenty of food variety and each thing is made to be top quality.
