Captain Marvel was Marvelous

Trailer

Captain Marvel is not just a two hour and five minute movie, but also the name of a super warrior hero named Carol who, within that movie, figures out her only enemy may be in her head. This movie is still playing at Cinemark Movie Bistro & XD, Classic Fort Collins 10, and Cinemark Fort Collins. Movie times can be found on their websites.

Captain Marvel was originally a man in 1967 when he first debuted in Stan Lee’s famous Marvel comics, but that didn’t take away from the fact this is the strongest hero Marvel has shown the public. And with a budget of 152 million dollars Captain Marvel  also placed in the top five most expensive Marvel movies.

November 12th of last year, Marvel creator,  Stan Lee, passed away, and in memory of his death the original Marvel opening scene was altered with videos of Lee in remembrance of who he was.

This movie is an exciting inside look into the Marvel war hero defence program, S.H.I.E.L.D.,and how it came to be. Captain Marvel’s first known enemies are Skrulls, a race of green aliens with the ability to shape shift. ”Might I say it takes talent” is how it was put by Talos the leader of the Skrulls race.

Carol’s world is flipped upside down when she lands herself on a non intergalactic planet called Earth when she is approached by Nick Fury an FBI agent who is skeptical  of her outlandish reasoning for crash landing into a Blockbuster. His mind is quickly changed when Carol releases fire from her hands in battle with the Skrulls that she had followed initially.

This movie was a key piece of the broad Marvel Cinematic Universe puzzle, and in order to stay up to date on the latest marvel timeline I would call this a must see. At times the movie can be confusing, but stick with it and all the questions will be answered.
