Movies you should Watch

In my lifetime, I have seen plenty of movies but there are just some that stand out the most. These are my recommendations for westerns and comedies.

Westerns: I’m not gonna lie, lately, I have really been into Westerns. It may just be because I have been playing “Red Dead Redemption 2” a lot, but these movies are actually really good.

“Unforgiven”: Starring the renowned Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman. They kick off their retired shoes and try to get back into the world of killing as a young bounty hunter asks them to join him in finding and killing two outlaws for a plentiful bounty. However, he sheriff of the town gets in their way in this Eastwood classic.

“Young Guns”: In one of Charlie Sheen’s most popular movies, he plays a  regulator with a group of men who were taken in by a man played by Terrence Stamp. After picking up a new regulator, Billy the Kid, played by Emilio Estevez, they treat him like a part of the family, but everything goes wrong when a major part of their crew is killed.

“Blazing Saddles”: Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little put on a huge laugh festival in this raunchy comedy. This movie is truly an R-rated movie and it  is definitely for mature audiences. It is about a rich and powerful man who wants to run a railroad through a town but in order to, he needs the people to leave. He then makes a plan to get rid of the people, but it doesn’t go his way.

“The Hateful Eight”: This Quentin Tarantino Movie has a huge cast of fantastic actors such a Channing Tatum, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, so you know this movie will be great. It’s about bounty hunters that ride together through a huge snow and decide to stay at a log cabin with an abundance of other men. But throughout the movie, you see the true colors of everyone in that cabin, even if it means finding out who murdered who.

Comedies: Who doesn’t love to laugh with your friends or just by yourself? A good laugh can bring out the best in life, relieving stress and helping you forget life for just a little bit. These movies will certainly help.

“The Ridiculous 6”: A funny western movie starring Adam Sandler where he  finds his five other brothers to save their dad and reunite them in a long lost meeting. They also must get enough money to get their dad away from his kidnappers.

“Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny”: Starring Jack Black and Kyle Gass telling their story of not only how they met, but how they made their band. In this film, Jack Black travels to Hollywood with the thirst of rock in his mouth. He finds a fellow rocker playing on the side of the beach and they spark a connection. Throughout the movie, they try to find the “pick destiny” which will give them unlimited rock power. It won’t be as easy as it seems.

“The Breakfast Club”A jock, a nerd, a rich girl, a goth, and a bad boy all spend a Saturday detention together in this classic film. As they destroy the stereotypes and norms of high school, they start to bond and create friendships that will last a lifetime.

These movies are just a few of the movies that are on Netflix. I have seen these movies myself and all I can say is that they deserve to be on this list. What movies would you add?? Post in the comments, Lobos.
