Post 2024 election a lot of people have been separated by left and right, blue and red, but I think this undermines the actual relationships that cause the wars and problems for this country.
An important issue for Americans is concern over our involvement in wars overseas, whether that’s Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine, or other non-specific examples. Many Americans might know why we are involved, but not by whose rhetoric.
The things that fuel war are not only disagreement between ideas but also money and interests in making more of it. This idea is not surprising to Americans who might already be knowledgeable about our military-industrial complex, which makes billions if not trillions a year, companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Caterpillar (CAT), General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, and RTX.
These corporations have generated billions from the deaths of millions. Whether these deaths were necessary or not, it doesn’t feel great that our country (and much of our budget) runs off and directly benefits from allowing these things to happen. These companies have direct monetary benefit from the wars in Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine.
In February of 2022, Russian troops marched into Ukraine to take the capital city of Kyiv. The preface of the war was disagreements on territory and Russia’s desore for land. The building tension between the two countries was amplified by the annexation of Crimea in 2014. This war has caused issues with immigration, rebuilding, and lives lost in the war. People and groups have stepped forward to cover the cost of rebuilding and reconstructing the big things that are now missing from the capital Kyiv and other places that might have been damaged along the ongoing siege. This may sound very good, but it doesn’t settle right in my mind
The benefit from this desperation comes to the companies Black Rock, Vanguard, and JPMorgan, a manager of Chase who have all come together to form nearly 1 billion in investment dollars that they plan to return on in Ukraine–especially Kyiv and other places with importance, population, or resources. Once you learn about their involvement with the military-industrial complex, you may start to wonder about the importance of these investments.
In another internationally prominent war between Palestine and Israel, Blackrock and Vanguard were also involved in scandal due to their partial ownership in every single company mentioned above from Boeing to Lockheed Martin, with a 7.4% investment in the ladder under Black Rock, and a 15.92% under Vanguard which has been key in arming people, including but not limited to the Israeli army. They have been criticized and told that they are allowing genocide and mass murder, but they have had little to low sympathy, with no response as of January 15th, 2025.
I will not cover the political sides of this, as it is not relevant to the point that the same people who blew up the houses in one part of the world, were found financing the war in Ukraine in 2024, more on that in a minute. Why are these people building houses in places ravaged by war? And the reason why is this obvious money cycle of selling $500M in arms to return later with a different face to invest and return on $1 billion in reconstruction.
If you are not yet convinced of these ties, back when the war began, Lockheed Martin allegedly had a meeting where they were briefed on the profitability of the Ukraine war. Lockheed Martin executives ate dinner and talked with bankers at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, talking about how there was “$10 billion in opportunity,” looking at it as a good thing these people were fighting.
With this circle connection and the intention of it, I think it spells out a different story of the left and right and what they want for the war. With their actions over the last few years, I can almost guarantee that peace is not their intention, period. But what people don’t realize is that a lot of things fall into our hands, and our perspective on what the right and left do that just serves rich people. It also affects how we look at our human counterparts. If you walk away with anything from this story, it should be loathing for big companies and love for those who are different and similar to you politically, because we all don’t have that much power politically, but we do physically, together.
