Painting with a Twist: Rocky Edition

As the New Year begins, it is time to put 2020 in the past. That being said, it is time to crank out the resolutions to kickstart 2021. What are your goals this year? Hitting the gym? How about tuning into your creative side? If trying something new is on your list, Rocky has just the thing for you.

RMHS’ own, Amy White, works hard to not only be a killer teacher, but to run and operate two Studio Vino locations in Northern Colorado. Mrs. White has been kind enough to share her skills with students and staff with painting lessons.

“We hope to have groups of 25 max and we’re looking at painting Lobo and Colorado related paintings to show school spirit, to bond, to have fun!” said Amy White.

A painting is chosen and everybody gets their own paint and materials. “We listened to music and Mrs. White led us in a step by step tutorial,” said Annika Nickel.

These events will be after school from 4:15-6:15 in the Commons. Student council is planning to start on April 14th and continue on May 5th. There is a small fee of $15 each, however this covers all paints and supplies.
