The dinosaur game was created in 2014 by three members of the Chrome UX team. It is a game you can play when your computer is not connected to the internet. They made it dinosaur themed joking that having no internet was comparable to being in the prehistoric age. The game has no ending, but the game will reset if you reach the score 999,999. Games resonate with many people within the Rocky community which is why they are on The Highlighter website.

The snake game is a genre of games that was first invented in 1976 with the arcade game Blockade. It slowly evolved and changed throughout the years, and in 1998, the game was preloaded on Nokia phones. In 2013, Google added the game as a secret on the browser and in January of 2025, Google rereleased the game for the Year of the Snake.
