Is Eminem back?

On August 31, 2018, Eminem dropped a surprise album to redeem himself from his previous album, Revival, which was widely believed to be the worst album of his career. So far, there is a lot of controversy around this new album called “Kamikaze.” Did he bring himself back to the limelight or did he dig his grave even deeper?

In the album, he disses just about every big rapper of this generation. Artists like Lil Pump, Lil Yachty, Tyler the Creator, Drake, Machine Gun Kelly, and even President Trump all got the furious wrath of Eminem’s rhymes. Many of them, like Lil Pump and Lil Yachty, took it as an honor, while others like Machine Gun Kelly(MGK) took it to heart and started beef.

In my opinion, this album is way better than Revival. His flow was  more superior than his last album as well. However, at the same time, it still isn’t as good as his older albums like “The Eminem Show,” and “Encore.”

I do have to say that there are some fire songs on the album like “The Ringer,” “Fall,” and “Kamikaze.” I definitely think he redeemed himself from Revival because we all saw how bad that was. Kamikaze was marked number 1 on the Billboard 200 in Detroit when it debuted.

Kamikaze is more of a raw mix tape then just a normal concept album. It has upgraded to $225,000 sales in the US, but, has many still believing he fell off the top. So is Eminem back? You decide.
