Growing up, she participated in soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, cross country, and track. Currently. she is in on Rocky’s JV girls soccer team.
“I love being competitive and aggressive towards winning,” Meghan said.

“My main goal right now is trying to play with Varsity for Rocky Mountain, but eventually I hope I can play soccer in college–maybe not D1 but like D2, so I can stay active and that’s how I cope with stress,” Meghan said.
She started going to a Christian youth group called YoungLife, and in December of 2024, she went to their winter camp in Fraser, Colorado, with her friend Avery Bartholomew. From there, her love for the youth group grew.
“It was called dare night. It’s where we just go and have fun and do dares. It’s called Dr. Thunder and it’s just Dr. Pepper, and we had to chug a gallon of it with the song ‘Thunderstruck,’ and then I had to do a backflip off a swing and I had to eat sardines,” Meghan said.
One of her favorite Rocky teachers in PE teacher Mike MacKenzie. She said he’s full of humor and is the greatest teacher she has ever had.
Her favorite foods are pasta, pizza and cheese calzones as she loves the Italian food. She also loves her slushies with a hint of Coca-Cola in them.
One of her goals in life is to travel the world and sky dive. Even if she’s afraid of heights, she likes an adrenaline rush. She also wants to go cliff jumping and go-karting at Fort Fun.
“I feel like I have everything I need right now. I always feel like I’m not loved enough even though I am, or I feel like I just need more joy in my life when hard times happen,” Meghan said.
Balancing soccer, her youth group and school is something that’s been challenging for Meghan. Her goal is to make others happy while trying to enjoy the things she loves, even if it’s difficult.
“I want to be remembered as a badass. I always wanted to stand up for people and be there and help people,” Meghan said.
Meghan is one of the most hardworking 15-year olds around. She doesn’t let her struggles define her, instead showing grown and maturity in the journey.
