Mrs. Dressen

After being a teacher at Webber for four years, Mrs. Dressen is starting her thirteenth year of teaching here at RMHS.

Mrs. Dressen is the gourmet cooking, advanced gourmet, and fashion design teacher this year. She switched over to Rocky because she was ready for a change and wanted to give teaching high schoolers a try. “I had heard nothing but good things about Rocky; I really like the students and teachers here. Everyone is really welcoming,” said Dressen.

Dressen went on to say that the legacy she hopes to leave behind is to make students feel welcome, accepted, and respected. “Overall, I just want to help kids be successful,” she said.

Dressen has found her passion in family consumer science and her own family, which includes two daughters, eight and five, and her supportive husband. Dressen’s family is very important to her. She commented, “I want to be a good mom and spend time with my family.”

Dressen said she loved her high school experience, as she participated in both basketball and softball in high school. Make sure to welcome Mrs. Dressen to Rocky!
